Speaker Bio
Raul Aguilar Jr. is an enrolled tribal member of the Red Lake Nation. He is currently serving as the Interim Coordinator for the Circle of Indigenous Nations, an American Indian student support services office, at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. He is president-elect for the Minnesota Association for Counselors of Color (MnACC). Raul holds a B.A in Communication Studies, and is currently finishing up his M.A program in Education, Policy, and Leadership at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He is also serving his second year as the Chair for Latino/a/x Faculty and Staff Association (LFSA), a recruitment and retention of Latinx staff and faculty organization at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
